Folks, they say that you shouldn't meet your heroes in case it ends in disapointment. Well, on Wednesday I did - and he was far groovier than I dared hope.

A lovely man, who came to our school to play - and boy, did he play. He said his children's shows usually last for about 45 minutes, because kids' attention spans drift after that - but he'd gauge how it was going.
He played for an hour and a quarter!
